Will protest in streets if justice is not given by institutions: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said on Monday there were protesting against Nawaz Sharif because his name had appeared in the Panama Papers.Speaking to reporters here prior to his departure for Karachi, Khan said there was a different law for former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and Nawaz Sharif.The PTI chairman further said they would launch street protests if they did not receive justice from institutions. Imran Khan added that his party respected the Supreme Court of Pakistan and would accept its decisions.

According to Khan they would be taking the petition to Raiwind as he alleged that all expenses of Raiwind were paid with the tax payers’ money.Imran Khan asked what expenses of Bani Gala were paid with the money of tax payers.During the PTI’s ‘Ehtesaab Rally’ Imran Khan said if their four questions were not answered before Eid-ul-Adha they would go to Raiwind.He said that Nawaz Sharif’s name must be put on Exit Control List (ECL) as he feared that the Prime Minister might run away from the country.

The PTI demonstrated in Lahore to demand holding the ruling Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) accountable for their alleged assets revealed in the Panama Papers.
