Samsung’s Galaxy A range has been updated with three new models, namely the Galaxy A7, A5 and A3.
Glass and metal are the primary materials used by the company for bodies with the bezels now a much narrower 2.7mm.
All three models come with better cameras, a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera sporting a lens with a bright 1.9 aperture. Double clicking the Home button launches the camera in less than a second.
The three phones have 16GB of storage with the option of adding more via the micro-SD card slot which supports sizes of up to 128GB. Samsung Malaysia is bundling a free 32GB micro-SD with every Galaxy A.
There are a few differences in these three phones, but the main difference is in screen size the Galaxy A7 has a 5.5in (1,920 X 1,080 pixels) display, A5 has a 5.2in (1,920 X 1,080 pixels) and A3 has a 4.7in (1,280 x 720 pixels).
Also, the A7 comes with a 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and 3,300mAh battery while the A5 has the same 1.6GHz octa-core processor but only 2GB RAM and 2,900mAh battery.
The Galaxy A3, being the little brother of the other two models, comes with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM and 2,300mAh battery.
Also, only the A7 and A5 have built-in OIS (optical image stabilization) for the rear camera.
