KARACHI – NEO TV seniro anchor Reham Khan on Sunday signed up to be an organ donor at the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT).
She signed the form to this effect during her visit to the SIUT.
On the occasion, she also inquired about the health of the renowned social worker, Abdul Sattar Edhi, at the SIUT.
Later, talking to reporters, Reham Khan said the people should sign up to be organ donors to help save the lives of those who need transplantation.
Saving the life of a patient is tantamount to rehabilitation of the entire family and that is a ‘Sadqa-i-Jaria’, she added.
Reham Khan paid tribute to Abdul Sattar Edhi, who had been serving the cause of humanity, saying she will extend all possible support to him in his mission.
To a question regarding the resignation of Director General of Ehtesab Commission Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, General (r) Hamid Khan, she said the top leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf had been saying that Hamid was a credible Mohtasib.
It was uncomprehensible that as to why he was now not being considered credible, she regretted.
