Ramazan moon sighted in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Ramazan moon has been sighted in Pakistan on Monday evening.

“In most parts of the country, including Karachi and Islamabad, a clear sighting of moon has been witnessed,” said Chairman of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Mufti Munibur Rehman.

“With consensus we are announcing the moon has been sighted and first of Ramazan will be on Tuesday, June 7.”

Meanwhile, first Ramzan is also being observed in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Turkey, Japan and Korea in effect from Monday.
