ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Imran Khan announced that his party would launch “country-wide movement” from August 7 against PML-N govt’s failure to start probe into the Panama leaks. PTI will also protest outside NAB office on 25th July.
Speaking to media persons in Islamabad on Wednesday, Imran Khan said, “We will first launch a public awareness campaign before staging a sit-in.” NAB should have taken action against the Sharif family after the Panama revelations, he added.
“The NAB has not only failed to open an inquiry against Sharif family, it has given clean chit to Finance Ishaq Dar in money laundering charges.”
“The government is taking no interest to finalize TORs regarding investigations into the Panama leaks,” he said.
Responding to a question, Khan said that he doesn’t support the martial law.
“If martial law is imposed in Pakistan, PTI will be the biggest loser,” he explained.
