Islamabad: President Mamnoon Hussain said on Tuesday that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would make a route for economic development of Pakistan and the region.
The president was addressing to a delegation of Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) led by its Chairman Major General Qaiser Anees Khurram, at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The chairman of SUPARCO informed about the ongoing satellite projects and the organisation’s contribution to the CPEC-related projects during the meeting.
The president lauded uplift role of the SUPARCO in the economic progress and development. He said that the SUPARCO needed to promote awareness among public on efficacy of space technology.
In the meantime, President Mamnoon urged national and international shareholders to take privilege of new investment opportunities by investing its capital in the different sectors including the CPEC project.
President Mamnoon said while talking to a delegation of the Pakistan Business Council, Dubai, headed by its President Muhammad Ahmed Shaikhani, peace situation in the country had improved notably and it had become an appealing hub for foreign financier.
He also urged Pakistani entrepreneur and overseas businessman to utilize the enormous investment opportunities, especially in the infrastructure development and energy fields.
