ISLAMABAD – PM Nawaz Sharif has formed a committee for holding negotiations with the opposition parties about TORs for judicial commission on Panama Papers probe.
Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid Minister for Planning, Development Ahsan Iqbal and State Minister for IT Anusha Rahman are included in the committee.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s Office has confirmed receipt of the opposition’s TORs with covering letter of opposition leader on Thursday but the same has yet to be submitted to the prime minister, the report said.
Meanwhile, Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali said that the government was ready to consult the opposition in formulating terms of reference (ToRs). He criticised the opposition for ‘unnecessary demands’ into the Panama probe, saying the government is cooperating in every possible way to solve the issue.
