Karachi: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has arrived in Karachi to inspect the ongoing Pakistan Navy exercise ‘Sea Spark’ in the Arabian Sea, and also inquire about the progress of the National Action Plan and discuss issues in implementation of the plan.
The Prime Minister in his day-long visit will meet top government and Rangers officials. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah is expected to raise the issue of lack of development funds with the Premier. Nawaz, on the other hand, is expected to raise the issue of lack of implementation of the National Action Plan. During the stay, he will also visit the ongoing Pakistan Navy exercise ‘Sea Spark’ in the Arabian Sea.
The Prime Minister is also likely to hold a High-level meeting in Karachi to review law and order situation in the city.
