Pakistan to send Samjhota passengers to India through busses

LAHORE (APP) – Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said that India did not receive 40 passengers of the Samjhota Express in which few passengers were Indian citizens.

Talking to journalists here at the Railways Station after meeting passengers of the Samjhota Express, he said that the authorities had shown responsibility and handled all the passengers of the Samjhota Express with care besides providing all necessary facilities to them.

He said that the Indian citizens would be sent to India on Sunday through buses. He also conducted a surprise inspection of the Green Line Train to review arrangements and facilities being provided to the passengers.

He expressed satisfaction over the facilities in the Green Line Train. State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali, MNA Sheikh Waqas Akram and others were also present.
