Pakistan to be among top 25 developed nations in ten years, says Ahsan Iqbal

Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that political stability and sustainability of economic policies will bring transformation with the help of China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC).

He was addressing the concluding ceremony of 2-day International Conference on CPEC in Lahore.

He said government had made a plan that Pakistan would be one of the top 25 developed nations in next 10 years under the Vision 2025 Programme.

Ahsan Iqbal said the CPEC is one of the biggest project of the century which had provided the nation an opportunity to make the country invincible.

He clarified the route of the CPEC had not been changed even for a single centimeter and it is being completed according to the plan as it was linked with the Pakistan’s economic growth.

He said that several energy, infrastructure and Industrial projects are being set up equally in all provinces.

Ahsan Iqbal said Pakistan is going to be a trade hub of central Asia through Pak-China Trade Corridor.
