Pakistan refuses to participate in blind Asia Cup in India

KARACHI: The Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) has refused to participate in the upcoming Asia Cup for the blind in the Indian city of Kochi.

The decision was taken after attacks and threats by Hindu extremist party Shiv Sena across India.

The Asia Cup for the blind is scheduled to take place from January 17-24 next year.

Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) had started the preparation of the Asia Cup, team was also shortlisted, but the current scenario all of a sudden changed the circumstances.

The PBCC Chairman Sultan Shah told that it was not feasible to send the team to India under the current situation.
