Pakistan expresses concern over H-bomb Test by North Korea

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has expressed ‘deep concern’ over the reports about the hydrogen bomb test conducted by North Korea.

In a statement, Foreign Office said, “Pakistan has consistently supported a nuclear weapons free Korean Peninsula as agreed by all parties. It strongly believes that all countries should comply with their respective international obligations.”

The statement added that Pakistan opposes any action which is detrimental to peace and stability in the region and militates against the prospects of reaching a solution to the issue in the framework of the Six Party Talks.
