Pakistan, China developing satellite for CPEC route

KARACHI – Transport Minister Sindh Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said on Saturday that Pakistan and China were developing a satellite to monitor the routes of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

“Space technology has produced massive changes in every field of life.It is contributing in many sectors including defence, communication and even medicines.Our ministry is using space technology to monitor the road system and port management as well,” the minister said.

He was addressing the inaugural session of the Fourth National Conference on Space Science and Technology organised by the Institute of Space and Planetary Astrophysics (ISPA), University of Karachi at Arts Auditorium.
