Pak-China joint military drills begin: ISPR

Rawalpindi: An impressive opening ceremony of two- week long joint training exercise between Special Forces of China and Pakistan was held in the Chinese city of Qingtongxia tuesday military media wing ISPR reported.According to press release issued by ISPR, the joint exercise as part of Year of Friendship 2015 will focus on anti-terrorist operations, hostage rescue, cordon and search operations. The joint exercise will enhance and further strengthen already deep military ties between Pakistan and China.The exercised called YOUYI 5 is being carried out in extreme weather conditions of northern China to impart and share Pakistan Army’s experiences in war against terrorism.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by senior military officers of Special Forces of Pakistan and People Liberation Army. National anthems of both the countries were played on the occasion.
