New York: North Korea’s latest medium-range ballistic missile test failed as the missile exploded soon after liftoff.
According to Patagonia Defense Department, the medium-range missile test by North Korea has failed miserably.
Officials said that North Korean missile test occurred in the north-western city of Kusong at 4.33 BST on Saturday.
According to a statement of South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff, the military believed the North failed in the attempt to fire a midrange Musudan missile. The failed test occurred near an airport in North Pyongan province.
South Korea strongly condemns the launch because it poses threats and violates United Nations Security Council resolutions that banned any ballistic activities by North Korea.
US Navy Commander Gary Ross said, “The North American Aerospace Defense Command determined the missile launch from North Korea did not pose a threat to North America.”
