ISLAMABAD - Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Monday that law and order situation in Pakistan has greatly improved due to the National Action Plan (NAP) and it will continue with same enthusiasm.
Chairing a meeting, the interior minister said that implementation on the NAP would continue with full resolve and determination as it was not a plan of an individual, political party or group but it was the voice of the whole nation. He said that law and order situation in the country had greatly improved due to the NAP.
He ordered to accelerate the process of collecting statistics about all the points of action plan and urged for effective steps with the cooperation of provincial governments for monitoring of each point. The meeting also approved permitting international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) to operate in Pakistan under the new policy. The minister was briefed that 127 international organisations applied for registration under the new policy.
