Federal Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ahmad said Pakistan-based terrorists are just using the name of Daesh but there is no presence of Daesh in the country.
While addressing a press conference the minister said Pakistan will win the war against terrorism. “We have to work as a nation against terrorism.”
On the issue of MQM leader Imran Farooq’s murder case, Nisar said the government will take the case to its conclusion. “The case is in court. With the cooperation of Scotland Yard, the final verdict will be reached,” he said.
Numerous individuals have been arrested under the allegation of linkages with Daesh, also known as ISIS, especially from Punjab.
Pakistani security agencies and government have repeatedly stated that there is no proper network of Daesh in Pakistan, claiming that the militants are using the name of terror group.
