Nawaz to leave for Uzbekistan

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif will leave tomorrow  for Uzbekistan for official two days visit where both the countries would likely to sign a number of agreements on economic cooperation.

The Prime Minister would reach Tashkent on Tuesday where he would meet the Uzbekistan leadership and discuss ways and means to enhance economic relations between the two countries.

Sources in the government told The Nation that the Prime Minister would likely to ask the Uzbekistan leadership to take advantage of the CPEC and become part of the gigantic economic activities associated with the multi-billion project.
During his two-day stay in the country, the Prime Minister would also visit Samarkand.
