Murad Ali Shah assumes Chief Minister Sindh office

Karachi:In not so unexpected developments Syed Murad Ali Shah son of former Chief Minister Sindh Abdullah Shah has secured 88 votes in Sindh Assembly.The 27th Chief Minister Sindh was way ahead than his contender Khurram Sher Zaman Khan of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf who got only 3 votes in an assembly of 139 directly elected and 38 nominated members.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement didn’t participate in the electoral process as Sindh opposition leader Khawaja Izhar ul Hassan has denounced his party’s faith in ruling People’s Party Govt.
