LPG prices increased without OGRA approval

LAHORE: Without the approval of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) marketing companies on Monday increased the prices of LPG by Rs five, after which price of domestic gas cylinder has arisen by Rs 60 and commercial cylinder by Rs 240. With recent increase, LPG price in Karachi has reached Rs 90/kg, Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Faisalabad, Jhelum, Kasur, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Daska, Peshawar to Rs 95/kg, Rahimyar Khan, Sadiqabad, Hyderabad, Attock to Rs 100/kg, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Abbottabad, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Kotli AJK, Tando Muhammad khan, Tando Allahyar, Mirpur Khas, Umer Kot, Nawabshah, Mityari, Thatta, Dadu, Jamshoro, Shikarpur to Rs 110/kg, Gilgit-Baltistan, Murree, Nathiagali and Balakot to Rs 125/kg.
