“I could see it. I could almost feel it. When I proclaimed that I was the greatest of all time, I believed in myself and I still do” said Muhammad Ali; the greatest of all time. I have no value to write about the man who was born to be THE BEST and was the definition of being the greatest ever. He was and he will remain as an example of which great people are.
Muhammad Ali was not only a legendary boxer but he was a great human being, civil rights fighter,
and a great Muslim, that’s why he is not only famous for his extra ordinary boxing but also as an inspiration for many people in different fields who then happened to be greats of those fields. This is the reason why he was called “Legend among Legends”.
President of United States of America said “Muhammad Ali was The Greatest, Period. If you just asked him, he’d tell you. He’d tell you he was the double greatest; that he’d “handcuffed lightening thrown thunder into jail”. He further said that “I and Michelle are grateful to God for how fortunate we are to have known him, if just for a while; for how fortunate we all are that The Greatest chose to grace our time” Now this is a big statement about The Biggest of All athletes.
World Wrestling Entertainment Legend wrestler and a successful Hollywood star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson himself is a great fan of Muhammad Ali and he said that “I was 6 years Old when I first met my hero in New Zealand. I was 25 years old as WWE Rookie, I leaned in to hug him and he pulled me back and said ‘Can you rumble’? In 1998 while I was wrestling in Louisville, he granted me the title “The People’s Champ” which I carried my whole life.”
I am sure that no one is unfamiliar with Nelson Mandela, who he was and how great he was.
Nelson Mandala also was a big admirer of Muhammad Ali and once called him his Inspiration as well.
He said “When I met Ali for the first time in 1990 I was extremely apprehensive, I wanted to say so many things to him. He was an inspiration to me, even in prison, because I thought of his courage and his commitment to his sport.”
He also once quoted that “Ali was not just my hero, but of millions of young, black South Africans because he bought dignity to his sport.”
Malcolm X, member of the Nation of Islam,
He also said that “Billions of our people in Africa, Asia and Arabia love you blindly, you must be aware of your responsibility to them.”
Imran Khan former Cricketer and current politician said that “Muhammad Ali is the greatest sportsman of all time, Ali had great talent, was highly intelligent & courageous, Ali was a man of strong convictions. Imran further stated that what set Ali apart from other great sportsmen was his refusal to compromise on his believes & value systems.”
Football great Pele once while talking about Muhammad Ali recalled when Ali was also featured in Warhol’s series, he said “He was a completely different character-more fun, making jokes all the time. He used to tease me saying he was more famous than me” With all due respect to Pele but Ali was right.
Tiger woods quoted about Muhammad Ali “You’ll always be The Greatest for more than just what you did in the ring. A champion to so many people in so many ways”
Wood’s remarks are analogous to what so many have communal about Ali in the wake of his passing. Not only was Ali widely measured the greatest boxer of all time, but his true greatness was by what he did outside ring.
Rest in Peace My Hero, My Inspiration, My Idol, You will be missed forever and hardly this planet will see anyone as great as you were. These quotations above are just like “A drop of water in an ocean”.
“To be able to give away RICHES is mandatory if you with to possess them. This is only way to be truly RICH” said The Greatest MUHAMMAD ALI.
