ISLAMABAD (Neo Web Desk): Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and across the world will observe the Indian Independence Day as Black Day tomorrow (Saturday) to convey the message to the international community that India had usurped their inalienable right to self-determination.
The day will be marked by a complete strike in held Kashmir on call of veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and other resistance leaders including MuhammadYasin Malik and Shabbir Ahmed Shah, KMS reported.
Protest rallies and different functions would be held in the territory to highlight the different dimensions of the Kashmir dispute and Indian atrocities on innocent Kashmiris.
Hurriyat leaders greet Pakistanis on Independence Day
Hurriyat leaders on Friday felicitated the people and the government of Pakistan on the eve of their Independence Day and have prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the country.
Hurriyat leaders including All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik and Maulana Abbas Ansari in their separate statements said that Pakistan was the country that had always highlighted the miseries of Kashmiri people and supported their freedom movement on international forums, KMS reported.
They said that Pakistan was a blessing for the entire Muslim world.
