Islamabad to have first ever mayor on Monday

The first mayor of country’s capital is set to be elected on Monday.According to Radio Pakistan, the Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation has seats of 50 UC chairmen and 27 other members on reserved seats.Of the 50 seats of the chairmen, 32 seats were won by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), which is expected to sweep the mayoral election.After the PML-N, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) follows the competition as it got 18 UC chairmen seats.
