India defeats New Zealand by 321 runs in the last test match

India has crushed New Zealand in the third test match on the fourth day with a margin of 321 runs.Ashwin taking 7 wickets for 59 runs in the second innings and 6 for 81 in the first, backed by double ton of Virat Kohli. New Zealand never seemed to be in league with India which performed extremely well both with bat and ball.

India helped by Kohli, scoring double century and Rehane scoring 188 was able to put on a mammoth total of 557 for five wickets only. New Zealand was reduced to 299 only with Ashwin taking 6 wickets at a cost of 81 runs, with only Guptill scoring a convincing 72.

India declared its second innings at 216 for 3 with Pujara scoring a not out 101.

New Zealand chasing a target of 474 was just managed to make 153 runs, while Ashwin bags 7 wickets for 59.
