Imran launches clean and green Peshawar

Peshawar: Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan kicked off clean and green Peshawar campaign and once again lashed out at incumbent government by stating that the authority, politicians and bureaucrats have become united at one place.

While addressing the participants at Nishtar Hall in Peshawar, PTI Chief stated that he does not know whether the government of Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) will survive till 2018 or not but the politicians and bureaucrats have united at one place. “We take pride in our country. We will start with making Clean Peshawar a model,” he added.

The volunteers scuffled inside the hall for meeting Imran Khan on which the PTI chief taunted that they are pathans due to which they break into anger faster than anyone. Khan also announced to construct parks and grounds on encroached land in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and claimed that more than 10 crore trees have been planted until now and vowed to plant a total of 1.2 billion saplings till 2018.

He further stated that he will ask Frontier Corps (FC) for their area to turn it into food streets, a recreational and park area. Meanwhile, Imran Khan assured that empowerment of general masses is PTI’s top priority.
