ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced that the federal government would bear all medical expenses of former Pakistan cricketer Hanif Muhammad.
On Monday, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah met cricketer Hanif Mohammed to inquire about his health.
On his visit, the CM Sindh presented the legendary cricketer a bouquet.
‘Hanif Mohammed is a legendary player, he should be supported in every way,’ said Shah.
The CM Sindh also presented one million rupees cheque to the ailing cricketer.
The 81-year old was hospitalised early Sunday due to complications from a recurring cancer disease. According to doctors the cricketer will be undergoing a series of tests in Karachi. The prime minister praised the legendary batsman for his services to the country and also prayed for his speedy recovery.
