Govt not to allow anyone to protest in Islamabad: Ch Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan said that it was opposition’s decision to investigate Panama leaks through FIA.

Addressing the media, Ch Nisar Ali Khan said the government has decided not to allow anyone to stage protest at D-chowk and F-9 Park. All of Islamabad areas would be banned for protests. No one would be allowed to put the capital to the halt. Last protest and sit-in inflicted Rs1 billion losses on the national exchequer.

Ch Nisar said PM Nawaz has never concealed anything. Now, committee has also been constituted in National Assembly on Panama Leaks. Imran Khan was fully allowed to name any FIA official of his own choice for Panama Leaks investigation.

Ch Nisar said that Panama Leaks issue would be resolved but media trial should have to be stopped. Protests can be staged in all cities other than Islamabad. Writ of the state has to be re-established.

Parliamentarians should exercise self-accountability system and offshore companies issue should be probed separately.

Its a developing story…
