Foreign Office ‘strongly condemns’ Indian Air Base attack

Foreign Office spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah has said Pakistan ‘strongly condemns’ the terrorist attack on Indian Air Force Base in Pathankot.

While addressing the media, the spokesperson further stated that Pakistan itself has been a target of terrorism. “Hence, we can understand the Indian pain”, he said.

“Our deep sympathies are with families of killed and injured,” he said. “Our full support is with those who were attacked,” he added. “We have been battling with terrorists for over a decade and have made immense sacrifices in this quest,” he stated. “Terrorism can only be eradicated with the cooperation of all regional states.” “Pakistan wants cordial relations with India and all its neighboring states,” the spokesperson stated.
