Election Tribunal rejects Aleem Khan allegations on election rigging in NA-122

The Election Tribunal has rejected PTI candidate Aleem Khan’s application regarding rigging in NA-122. “The application is not hearable,” the Election Tribunal said.

While talking to the media, the son of PML-N candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq stated that today the party which does not admit its defeat has been truly defeated.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Aleem Khan had earlier challenged the victory of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in NA-122 by-elections.

The elections of NA-122 being conducted in General Elections 2013 had been declared null and void by the Supreme Court. By-elections had been ordered in the constituency, wherein Ayaz Sadiq retained his National Assembly seat and was re elected as speaker National Assembly.
