Court indicts two MQM workers on murder charges

KARACHI – An anti-terrorism court on Saturday indicted two workers of the Mutahidda Qaumi Movement – Ubaid alias K2 and Nadir Shah – for their involvement in the murder of at least 200 policemen.

The two were arrested during the March 11 Rangers raid at MQM’s Nine Zero headquarters. The two had also been identified by witnesses in court in murder cases.

In a separate development, the anti-terrorism court approved the charge sheet against three alleged Indian spies. The three alleged Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agents are likely to be indicted on the next hearing.

According to details, the suspects were detained from the super highway on April 29. Security forces also seized illegal arms, ammunition and explosive material from their possession.
