Barranquilla: Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos declared on Thursday to extend ceasefire with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) till December 31. The Colombian President made this move to save a peace deal which was rejected by voters in a national referendum. Recently, Juan Manuel Santos awarded with Nobel Peace Prize for its peace keeping efforts this year. He is engaged in dialogues with FARC to improvise the deal and to make it acceptable for the public. President Santos said that he hope to create a new pact before the ceasefire expires. Former President Alvaro Uribe urged to put strict penalties for group who committed war crimes.
