RAJANPUR – Chotu gang finally surrendered to the armed forces and released 24 hostages on Tuesday late night.
According to media reports, Pakistan Army blocked the entry and exit points of the area and started the operation in slum Jamal area of Rajanpur. The army equipped power troopers hindered the slum area and started the operation in Katcha Jamal zone against the chotu gang which continued for the span of the day.
The gangsters abandoned their posts and ran into the jungle during the operation. The security forces were available to inflict serious damages on the suspects. Army’s helicopter dropped pamphlets warning the suspects to lay down their weapons and surrender.
