KARACHI: The hard work of the students who appeared for their science general and pre-engineering Intermediate examinations paid off as their results were announced on Sunday.
Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, (BIEK) controller Imran Khan Chishti, along with Chairperson Akhtar Ghori and chief guest Sindh ombudsman Asad Ashraf Malik, announced the results of the annual examinations held this year.
The results were announced a month late after the Anti-Corruption Establishment raided the BIEK offices over complaints of tampering with marks and changing in results. According to the syndicate’s decision, the deadline for the results was September 15 while the board has still managed to announce the result before the deadline. Chishti said that there should be a standard policy to start classes in public and private colleges.
