KARACHI (Neo Web Desk) –The ban of Sindh High Court (SHC) on three-wheelers and motorcycle rickshaws lacking route permit, fitness certificate and registration has irked Karachiites, Dunya News reported on Saturday.
Enraged residents have demanded to lift ban over the use of motorcycle rickshaws so that they can easily travel.
Earlier, court rejected Qingqi Rickshaw Association’s plea against Traffic Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and ordered authorities to ban illegal transports.
Rana Faizul Hassan had filed a plea in the SHC stating that traffic in Karachi is being affected by rickshaws that are not registered. The rickshaw association had filed a plea terming raids on DIG’s directives illegal.
