ATC grants bail to MQM’s Rauf Siddiqui till Dec 19

KARACHI: An Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday approved bail plea of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rauf Siddiqui in Dr Asim Hussain case, ordering him to submit surety bonds worth Rs.200,000.

The ATC has granted bail to MQM leader Rauf Siddiqui till December 19. He was nominated as co-accused in a case registered against former petroleum minister Dr Asim Hussain.

Rauf Siddiqui faces charges of providing medical facilities to terrorists.

Earlier, Siddiqui had been granted 4-day protective bail by the Sindh High Court (LHC).
