Army Chief telephones Afghan President, US Gen. Campbell

Rawalpindi: Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif made a phone call to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and shared the details of attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda. Army Chief informed that Charsadda attack was controlled and operated from a certain place in Afghanistan.

Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif also telephoned US top commander in Afghanistan Gen. John Campbell and Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah.

According to ISPR, leads and investigations confirm that Tehreek-e-Taliban operative was giving instructions to terrorists from an Afghan cell phone and Afghan SIMs were recovered from the terrorists. Army Chief Gen. Raheel Sharif asked the Afghan President to extend their help to catch the elements involved in the attack.
