Air Chief meets Jordanian Military Command, Advisor to King on Military Affairs

ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman on Thursday met Jordanian Military Command at Amman during his visit to Jordan.On his arrival at Joint Staff Headquarters, the Air Chief was received by Commander, Royal Jordanian Air Force, Major General Mansour Salim Al-Jobour.A smartly turned out contingent of Royal Jordanian Air Force presented the Guard of Honour.After reviewing the Guard of Honour, the Air Chief called on Commander of RJAF in his office.

Both the dignitaries remained together for some time and discussed matters of professional and mutual interest.While talking about the JF-17 Thunder programme, the Air Chief underscored that the programme has achieved important milestones and it will match the standards of its competitors.Commander RJAF appreciated high standards of professionalism being set by Pakistan Air Force and highlighted the need of learning from each other’s experience.Meanwhile, the Air Chief also met Prince Feisal bin El Hussein and General Mashal Mohammad Al-Zaben, Advisor to the King on Military Affairs and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff.During the meeting, the Air Chief highlighted PAF’s pivotal role in the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb besides discussing various matters of mutual interests.Prince Feisal lauded PAF’s role in fighting the war against terrorism and reiterated his resolve to stand by Pakistan in any hour of need.
