11 killed in Indian temple stampede

Patna (Neo Web Desk): At least 11 pilgrims including 8 women dead and dozen injured in a stampede at a temple in eastern India during a Hindu religious festival, police said

Thousands of people were trying their way while open the gate at daybreak when the stampede started accidently in Deogarh, a town in Jharkhand state, said a police officer.Stampedes are fairly common during Indian religious festivals, where large crowds gather in small areas with few safety or crowd management measures.
